By your thinking Plymouth Rock would be the USA.

it's funny you say that. I remember going up to KU to hear professors from the Fort Leavenworth Military College speak about teaching military science and tactics. they sounded straight out of the plains Indian Wars and used terms like finding the friendlies and warm hearts and minds which sounded like counter insurgency nonsense. I hear the words tribal zone about Afghanistan and Pakistan and I remember how misguided this stuff sounded at KU.

I would say the tribes of multi millionaire casino owners have assimilated quite well into the white man's culture.

the feds gave the go ahead because this process began during the bush administration. the bush administration didn't care anymore about this than you do with your flippant comments.

What civil right is being infringed by building this road?

Mike, there is no mound out in the swamp. If the man-made berms that hold the water in the swamp were breached there would be no swamp. Comparing the swamp to a certifiable mound is nonsense. If there was proof of anything cultural along the alignment of the road the feds would never have given the go-ahead.

Can't wait to see that beautiful new blacktop!

Take a picture of it to remember it by and get over it. Years ago white men came to the Americas and enslaved my people and made them mine the gold, killing most in the process. That's the way things were back then. Can't change it, just the future.

the mounds are old and the wetlands are not. do the wetlands submerge a sacred site? that doesn't sound right
