Meagan King: No, you have been heard.

But many of us, having learned more about the background and objectives of these Common Core standards, and reading the materials printed and placed on the web by opponents such as yourselves, simply believe you are wrong.

Which is exactly what will happen when these criteria are fullly implemented. For heaven's sake, READ the full standards and you will understand, unless you don't want to, why these standards lead to better learning situations for the kids.

Those, like you, who rail against that which they do not understand, and don't want to because "it's some big gopvernment boogey man", would profit by actually Googling the Common Core Standards, where they came from, and how they are instituted.

As in a classroom, ignorance is no excuse for silliness when the actual facts are available tio you.

This effort against Common Core Standards seemingly is tied to right wing tea Party thinker playing their usual role as obstructions rather than moving forward.

The motives are questionable I say after spending a bit of time researching Kansans Against Common Core. This nationwide organized effort comes with RT wing overtones. So I say.
