I think the brackets are setup to create matchups for TV. It's all about the revenue so why would this process be any different.

I'm not sure there is any clear vision as to how and why teams are chosen for the NCAA Playoff.
As it is many of the same names seem to show up no matter what year after year. And as we know that is no indication that those same names should be there year after year. Villanova and Western Kentucky may beat out these very big names in the industry.
So much for the bug names in college basketball.
It's okay for Roy to continue questioning the authority. I'm sure he may not be the only one.

I think Roy has a case. Carolina should be at least a 5 or 6 seed, maybe even a 4 based on last 10 games. However, Roy , more than anything is trying to get his youngsters rallied. He is trying to put a chip on their shoulders and that is good coaching by a hall of fame coach. If a KU vs UNC happens, it will be the first time we will be expected to win and that is the hand Roy is playing on. All that being said, Roy is so famous for whining that it is hard to differentiate substantiated whining from just plain ol Roy boy whining. Nevertheless, the Hawks are capable of going through this regional and it is on them to play like the did in the last two games. Barring atrocious officiating that could throw the Hawks out of rhythm , they should win into the final 4.

Bring it on Julius, be our first victory of the tournament!!!!!!!!!!! I think Andrew should come here if for no other reason it gets him closer to his brother, Nick, at WSU. Their family could come see at least one of them play and visit the other on the trip.

The only way this is a legitimate criticism is if Roy names the teams that shouldn't be seeded ahead of UNC. Otherwise it's kind of pointless and theoretical. The committee has to deal with reality and there's just not a lot of separation this year. I think UNC got dinged because the committee didn't think much of the ACC.
