Thanks Johnson for everything that you have taught me, from the days of ladder training as a new extra board firefighter to recent days of asking questions regarding promotions. Your experience, dedication, and willingness to continue to learn new fire service techniques weeks before your retirement has inspired me even more. Your presence within the department will be missed, you're the man I will be talking about to new employees. Enjoy your time with family, and don't forget to stop by, tea only takes a few minutes to make.

Enjoy your retirement! You have always been a wonderful public servant, going way above and beyond what is expected. On several occasions you have taken the time to show my kids the fire truck and chat with them. People like you are hard to find and you will be missed!

Best wishes in your retirement. The Royal College Store comment brings up memories of Tommy Black and his father "Bunny"; and the scuttlebutt /speculation of the Saturday Sabbath Lightning.strike Ran into Tommy on time in the Salt Lake City Airport shortly after the second incident, didn't have the nerve to approach him, chickened out I guess.
