When the second amendment was written there was a possibility of invasion from England, and it happened. They wanted the people to be prepared to meet this attack. Today America is under internal invasion and people want to be ready for an attack from muggers and house breakers.
The violence in the gang territories is not random, it is thought out and done with a specific motive and outcome and it is no different in scope and intent that tribal warfare that is going on in other parts of the world.

Don't rule out a home invasion by so-called Homeland Security. And anyone who is a skeet shooter can see the Obama photo is a fake. And now the White House is refering to the gun as a "rifle"? How does anyone trust the Obama administration?
