Mike is the only current commissioner that hasn't bought in to the Rec Center hook, line and sinker. For that reason alone, he has my vote.

Mike is one of the few voices of reason at City Hall. I appreciate everything he has done and look forward to supporting him again.

Do you even live in Lawrence?

Mike gets my vote for the following reasons:
Attention to infrastructure
He's independent
You can talk to him and he's honest about his POV
As an aside, if the screen name is Merrill, I automatically discount the post.

Go for it Mike.
We're behind you 100%.

Perhaps that is why folks like him. He is down to earth and has some reasonably good sense.

Maybe Congress needs to be a bunch of barbers instead of a bunch of lawyers. Since barbers are used to cutting things, maybe they would cut fraud, waste, and spending. You go, Mike!

I have no idea what kind of politician Amyx is, but he is a poor barber. I let him cut my hair once, and never went back.
