"Former Attorney General Phill Kline told the Kansas Supreme Court on Thursday that he never lied or intentionally misled authorities......."
A critical mistake Kline made in his defense was failing to inform the Kansas Supreme Court that " I am not lying right now to you people about lying before about not lying"
Right wing fanatical radical nut case wackos believe that it is their god given right to lie. Rarely has Klines lips ever moved without lying. Add republican and politician to that and you will never find a shred of truth, only ideology and the will to force that ideology on innocent and law abiding people who really don't lie and don't have to lie about that.

Don't attorneys have some regulations for practice that state they are responsible for outright lies and unintentional lies in their practice that includes those who work for them? Other professionals do. He sounds like he concedes to unintentional misrepresentation, but he should know better.

“I always smile when I hear judges, prosecutors and attorneys saying about a case, ‘This isn’t about abortion’,” Condit said. “Let me tell you, folks, it’s always about abortion.”
For Phill Kline, it was most certainly about abortion and not about the law. He trampled all over that in pursuit of his main goal. If the Supreme Court is wise, they will refuse this gambit and make it what it's supposed to be about; the law. However, you can pretty well guarantee that Kline and his attorney will continue to make it about abortion. This utter disregard for the law is precisely why Kline should lose his license. He can't exactly deny what happened on the Bill O'Reilly show and he should lose his license for that, alone.
