This is interesting. A short time ago there was a story in the KC papers about a guy who was starting a business posting arrest records on a web site. He was obtaining the information and then sending letters to the people basically saying that he would withhold posting their information for a fee. The Johnson Co. DA pretty much said there was nothing he could do about it.
On the Dg. Co site it clearly posts a law that says that information can't be used in such a manner. I realize this is a little bit different, but similar. Sounds like our DA is willing to do what should be done.
And yes, I know that information is public, but trying to extort money for NOT posting something is just wrong.

Although I hate what Sex Offenders do, they do still have rights as humans. I feel that Ms. Boline's actions are a very low-life way to attain financial gain. What does Ms. Boline do for a job? or does she even have a job? I have to agree with you, Somebodynew... This is completely what the Douglas County Law Enforcement websites state the information should not be used for. I hope Ms. Boline realizes who has more power than her after the ruling is handed down. Oh, how great that will look on future job applications! Good Luck, Ms. Boline!!!

" they do still have rights as human". I disagree for these people are not human but animals and should be treated as such.

Says she's a personal trainer. Not sure what publication she might be working for in that capacity....

I wonder if the publication is that dumb little newsprint magazine they sell at quick shops in town that shows the mugshot of people arrested locally. What's that magazine called? And how can it exist?
