They should return to the name 'Wizards'.

Sporting KC is fine by me.

I like 'Sporting KC.' Sounds more like top-shelf soccer to me. Like 'Man U" & other clubs. Righteous Logo, too.

lance armstrong is a true american hero regardless of using or not using the drugs, don't you think all the other top competitors were using them too?

Lance is no hero. I remember how proud I was of him watching the Tour de France. He spoke out so strongly against the use of drugs that he seemed like a superman.
He lied. He cheated. He's a small man. I know other cancer survivors(and non-survivors) who are just as heroic as this fraud.

Livestrong applies to everyone. Eventually, few will remember or care, that the name of the park had anything to do with Armstrong.

Livestrong is a great organization; it champions a great cause. Leave the name.
As for the name, "Sporting KC", that is the dumbest name I've ever heard for a sports team It sounds like it was chosen by a person who didn't speak English as their first language.

It doesn't matter. They'll sell it in a few years and it will be renamed Some Giant Multinational Company stadium.
Go to Ticketmaster and search your favorite act. Virtually all the venues are now Giant Corp amphitheater or some variation. Kind of like Sandstone, or whatever they're calling this year.

Cricket Wireless Amphitheater.

Nope. Armstrong was tested umpteen dozen times and he always passed. The bicycling business is a swamp. Tour de France (bag) should be junked.

Hmmm, a lot of people here seem to think the question reads "Should the team change its name?" Was the wording of the question changed? Because I don't see anything in the question regarding a change to a team name...
Anyways, the team does not own the stadium, so the team (Sporting) has no say in the name of the stadium, from my knowledge. Sure, the two may feed off each other...but I don't believe the team itself can just go change the name of the stadium it neither owns nor operates.
