Nope, my house is protested by Smith & Wession!
Yep. I put down the wooden pole on the sliding back door...make sure all the downstairs windows are locked...and more importantly, keep my .22 and a loaded magazine right under the edge of the bed.
Pretty silly reading - all these "I have my gun" claims.
I'm not sure what good a gun would be if you're not at home...or if the gun isn't handy. But it's always fun to puff out your chest and brag about what you'd do, I guess.

I think that the police have done a decent job so far catching some of the scofflaws. But I think these burglaries will continue until a hapless thief walks into the wrong house and is met by a carefully aimed double tap. That should end the spree for a while, at least.
