Are there other fall sports besides football in this town???????
Of course there are, but none of them actually "played" during the jamboree.
The Free State boys' soccer teams played for nearly two hours last night...
...and so did the volleyball team
........soccer teams played for nearly two hours .....
Dont think it was at the stadium
Plus, the pics do show the band and some cheerleaders, so its not just all football. but that was the main event
That picture is of the Pom squad not the cheerleaders. And Bryce Torneden is a sophomore. All the fall sports teams came out to the stadium and were introduced. And some teams had scrimmages. There were free snow cones. And concessions was open. Many of the high school clubs had tables set up so that students could learn more about them. The band played. It was a super fun time for families!
and....Keith Loneker shrugs off Sophomore Sam Skwarlo
So there were other sports but they do not count ? Interesting!
and....Keith Loneker had to shrug off a face mask as well!!!
The cross country team (boys and girls) ran a mile in the stadium during the half time of the football scrimmage. The girls volleyball team played in the gym, the boys soccer team scrimmaged at the soccer field, all the fall sports were introduced in the stadium. I saw the LJ world photographer taking photos of some of the participants other than the football scrimmage and the one pic of band and one of the pom squad. It would be nice to post those pictures too.
He didn't do a very good job of posting both high schools pictures of the Jamboree.
