John and Kristi Butler announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Breanne Butler, to Justin Scott Hart, all of Lawrence.
The future bride is a graduate of Free State High School and is an assistant teacher at Googles of Learning in Lawrence.
The future groom is the son of Phil and Theresa Hart, Perry. He is a graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School and recently returned from a tour in Iraq with the U.S. Army Reserves’ 603rd Military Police Unit in Belton, Mo. He is employed with Mr. Rooter in Lawrence.
The couple plan a June 7, 2009, wedding in Perry.

Lauren Tate, Lawrence, and Preston Lambrecht, Goodland, announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Steven and Susan Tate, Lawrence. She is a 2005 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School and will graduate this month with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Washburn University’s School of Nursing. She is employed by St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
The future groom is the son of Lowell and Darla Lambrecht, Goodland. He is a 2004 graduate of Goodland High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in youth ministry from Manhattan Christian College in 2008. He is a youth pastor at College Heights Baptist Church, Manhattan.
The couple plan a June 13, 2009, wedding at the Kansas Museum of History, Topeka.

Michael and Ardyth Milburn announce the engagement of their daughter, Cybill Dawn Milburn, to Casey Matthew Coates, all of Baldwin City.
The future bride is a 2004 graduate of Baldwin High School. She is studying for an elementary education degree at Emporia State University.
The future groom is the son of Don Coates, Baldwin City, and Marissa Jones, Emporia. He is a 2004 graduate of Central Heights High School and earned an associate’s degree in animal science from Garden City Community College in 2006. He is employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Ottawa.
The couple plan a June 6, 2009, wedding at Worden United Methodist Church in Baldwin City.
