The bride is the daughter of John and Joan Grossman, Carroll.
The groom is the son of John and Anne Poggio, Lawrence.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Kuemper Catholic High School in Carroll. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, in 1999. She earned a master’s degree in curriculum leadership from Emporia State University in 2004. She is a doctoral student at Kansas University, studying curriculum and instruction and is employed with McGraw Hill Education.
The groom is a 1994 graduate of Lawrence High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from St. Louis University in 1998. He was the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship in 1999, studying at the University of Padua in Italy. He earned a master’s degree in education from Boston College in 2001 and completed his doctoral coursework in educational statistics at the University of Iowa in 2005. He is employed with Computerized Assessments and Learning in Lawrence.
The couple reside in Lenexa.
Crady and Maxfield

The bride is the daughter of Hal and Debby Crady, Lawrence.

Dale and Peggy Coffman, Lawrence, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their daughters and their families at their home on Dec. 27, 2008.
Peggy L. Cowan and Alfred “Dale” Coffman were married Dec. 27, 1948, in Lawrence.
Dale has been in the trucking business for 35 years in Lawrence. Prior to the trucking business, he did auto body repair. Peggy is a homemaker.
They have two daughters, Joyce and husband, Jerry Cromwell, Lawrence, and Sandy and husband, Tom White, Eudora; and a son, Gary, and wife, Judy Coffman.
They have six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
