The future groom is the son of Randy and Kris Jamison, Lawrence. He is a 2000 graduate of Baldwin High School. He is pursuing an associate's degree at Johnson County Community College and is employed as a firefighter for Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical.
The couple plan a June 28 wedding at Danforth Chapel at Kansas University.

Hilary Brown and Scott Allegrucci were married Dec. 22, 2007, during a private ceremony in Topeka, with retired Kansas Supreme Court Justice Donald Allegrucci officiating.
The bride is the daughter of John and Helen Kiefer, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Donald and Joyce Allegrucci, Topeka.
A reception followed at Local Burger in Lawrence.
The bride graduated from Lawrence High School and Kansas University. She owns Local Burger restaurant.
The groom graduated from Pittsburg High School. He also graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and Colorado College in Colorado Springs.
He is employed by the Climate and Energy Project of the Land Institute.

The bride is the daughter of Colin Howat and Sara Holley, both of Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Rex and Toni Ross, Paola.
Maid of honor was Ellen Howat. Best man was John Ross. Bridesmaids were Ashley and Brittanie Payne. Groomsmen were Ryan and Joseph Courtney.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hutchinson High School and is pursuing a teaching degree at Kansas University. She is employed by Lawrence public schools.
The future groom graduated from Jefferson West High School, Meriden. He plans to graduate from KU's School of Pharmacy in May. He is a student-intern at Kmart Pharmacy in Topeka.
The couple plan a June 14 wedding at Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.

Robert "Bud" and Dorothy "Dot" Johnson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. March 8 at Central United Methodist Church, 1501 Mass.
Robert Johnson and Dorothy Carey were married March 9, 1958, at Central United Methodist Church in Lawrence.
Both are Lawrence High School graduates. Bud served six years in United States Army Reserve and obtained the rank of staff sergeant. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 35 years of service in 1999. Dot worked at Standard Life Insurance before becoming a homemaker.
Their children are Robin and Terry Jacobsen, Lawrence; Marc and Stephanie Johnson, Ozawkie; and Brad and Ida Johnson, Lawrence. They have 11 grandchildren.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Marcia Smith, Eudora.
