Todd and Jeannot Barnes Seymour, Lawrence, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Todd Seymour and Jeannot Barnes were married Feb. 9, 1957, in Birmingham, Mich.
They are graduates of Kansas University. Todd is retired president of the KU Endowment Association, and Jeannot was employed as a graphic designer for KU's university relations.
Since retirement, she has been active with Trinity Episcopal Church and Lawrence Memorial Hospital. They also enjoy traveling to New Mexico and Las Vegas.
Their daughter is Bunny Seymour-Bierlaagh, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. They have one grandson.
Plans are under way for a celebration later this year.

Julie Megan Sorge and Henry Way were married Jan. 12, 2007, at Danforth Chapel on the Kansas University campus, with Dr. James Woelfel officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Nadine Sneidar, Amherst, Va., and the late Gary Sorge, formerly of Altoona, Pa. The groom is the son of Jerome Way, Bristol, England, and the late Jane Way.
The maids of honor were Mauresa Guelzo, Susannah Hawes and Melissa Bagley. The best man was Josh Long. The groom's honor attendant was Celia Way.
A reception was given at the Summerfield Room in the Adams Alumni Center.
The bride received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in world history at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, and a Master of Arts in English at KU. She is employed as a college English instructor.
The groom graduated from Monmouth School in Monmouth, Wales. He received a Bachelor of Arts in geography at Oxford University and a Master of Philosophy in geography at Cambridge University. He is pursuing a doctorate in geography at KU.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

The future bride graduated from Lawrence High School in 2002 and received a degree in agricultural economics in 2006 from Kansas State University. The future groom is a 1999 graduate of LHS and a 2001 graduate of Fort Scott Community College. He is employed by the city of Lawrence.
The couple plan a March 31, 2007, wedding at First Southern Baptist Church in Lawrence.

Allison Berens and Joshua Johnson, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Wayne and Gayla Berens, Quinter. The future groom is the son of Steven and Terri Johnson, Lawrence.
Allison is employed as customer relations/marketing representative for Great Plains Compounding Center in Lenexa. Joshua is pursuing an undergraduate degree at Baker University.
The couple plan an Oct. 20, 2007, wedding in Lawrence.

David and Karla Grosdidier, Eudora, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Grosdidier, Eudora, to Jake Fager, Eudora, son of Terry Fager, Salina, and Nancy Fager, Wichita.
The future bride graduated from Eudora High School and is pursuing a degree in animal science and industry at Kansas State University.
She plans to apply to the veterinary technology program at Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods in Kansas City, Mo., and is employed by Arbor Creek Animal Hospital in Olathe.
The future groom graduated from Salina South High School and received a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering technology at Kansas State University.
He is employed by Black and Veatch in Overland Park.
The couple plan a May 26, 2007, wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. A reception is set for June 9 in Eudora.

The future bride is a 2001 graduate of Santa Fe Trail High School and received a Bachelor of Science in journalism in 2005 from Kansas University. She is employed as a production coordinator for Live Nation in Kansas City, Kan.
The future groom is a 2001 graduate of Leavenworth High School and is pursuing a communications degree at KU. He is a sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The couple plan a July 28, 2007, wedding at Central United Methodist Church in Lawrence.

The future bride is a 2003 graduate of Lawrence High School and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in social welfare at Kansas University. The future groom is 2002 graduate of Free State High School and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance from KU. He plans to work for HighPointe Financial Group in Leawood.
The couple plan a June 30, 2007, wedding at Lawrence Free Methodist Church.
