Haley Cabay and Nathan Oehlert were married Sept. 16, 2006, at Lawrence Free Methodist Church, with Ann Kugler officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jim Cabay, Kansas City, Mo., and Marilyn Cabay, Lawrence. The groom is the son of John and DeVonna Oehlert, Lawrence.
The matron of honor was Casey Greenly. The best man was Andy Yoder. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Elm, Sara Slape, Caitlin Johnson and Christine Krzanowsky. The groomsmen were Jason Oehlert, Chad Oehlert, Dan Oehlert and Ryan Martin.
The flower girl was Jordan Sears. The ring bearer was Isaac Greenly. The candle lighters were Chase Oehlert and Kasey Oehlert. The photographer was Lance Greenly with LSG Productions.
A reception was given at the Adams Alumni Center.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Free State High School and has attended Johnson County Community College. She works at Capitol Federal Savings.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Lawrence High School and works as assistant branch manager at Capitol Federal Savings.
The couple reside in Eudora.
Isernhagen and Karpowitz
Dennis and Diane Karpowitz, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth, Lawrence, to Tim Isernhagen, Phillipsburg, the son of Doug and Pam Isernhagen, Phillipsburg.
The future bride is a 2002 graduate of Lawrence High School. She will graduate in December with a degree in English education from Brigham Young University. She is student-teaching at Olathe East High School.
The future groom is a 1999 graduate of Phillipsburg High School. He served on an Latter-day Saints church mission in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from 2000 to 2002. He will graduate in May 2007 with engineering and business degrees from Kansas University.
The couple plan a Dec. 28, 2006, wedding in Nauvoo, Ill. A celebration for the couple will be Dec. 29 in Lawrence.
