Carol and Roger Will

Carol Porter and Roger Will were married Oct. 7, 2006, at the Chapel on Chestnut Square in McKinney, Texas, with Chaplain Rickey Hargrave officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Harry Hanson, Emporia, and Gene and Martha Taylor, Burlington.

The groom is the son of Donald and Alice Will, Orange, Va.

The matron of honor was Sally Johnson. The best man was Rick McCoy.

A reception was given at the couple's new home in Frisco, Texas.

The bride is a graduate of Emporia High School and received a law degree and master's of social work from Kansas University.

The groom graduated from Loudoun Valley High School in Purcelville, Va.

Anniversary

Leo and Emily Dahlem

Leo and Emmeline Dahlem, Eudora, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 5 p.m. Nov. 18 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Eudora, followed by a dinner and reception at the church's Parish Hall, 820 Birch St.

Leo Dahlem and Emmeline Rinke were married Nov. 17, 1956, at Holy Family Church, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating.

Leo retired from General Motors in 1987 after 31 years of employment, and Emily retired from the city of Lawrence in 1998 after 27 years as the executive secretary to the city manager.

On June 11, 2006, the couple attended the archdiocesan golden wedding anniversary celebration at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Kansas City, Kan. More than 100 couples attended the Mass and reception. Each couple received a 50th anniversary certificate and a gold cross from Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann.

Hosts of the dinner and reception will be their children, Gregory and Julie Dahlem, Eudora, and Gary Dahlem, Kansas City, Mo. They have two grandchildren.Dahlem

Raegan and Tanner Morton

Raegan Ann Copp and Tanner Lee Morton were married Oct. 7, 2006, at First United Methodist Church in Lawrence, with Tom Brady officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Zoe Ann Kennedy, Perry, and Dennis and Nancy Copp, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Palmer and Deborah Morton, Topeka.

The matron of honor was Cameo Kennedy. Best man was Conner Morton. Bridesmaids were Natalie Schmidt-Konkel, Mary Douglas, Tonya Mater, Ashley Phelps and Jill Dryer. Groomsmen were Jason Schnellbacher, Isaac Boyd, Eric Hernandez, Michael Phelps and Ryan Ehlers. Flower girls were Alexa Boyd and Madalyn Ehlers. Ring bearer was Carson Freeman.

The reader was Christine Mann. Guest book attendant was Kim Hiatt. Program attendants were Naomi Pennington and Mallory Kalcik. Ushers were Brice Durbin, Travis Kalcik and Bret Faris.

A reception was given at Alvamar Golf and Country Club.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Lawrence High School. She is a Realtor at Realty Executives of Kansas City.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Topeka West High School. He received an associate's degree from Johnson County Community College. He owns Premier Mortgage in Overland Park.

The couple reside in Overland Park.
