Candace Lynn Jones and Christopher Alan Moore were married Sept. 10, 2005, at Lawrence Bible Chapel in Lawrence with Larry Sherraden officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. David and Vicci Jones, Baldwin. The groom is the son of Mark and Debi Moore, Lawrence.
Maid of honor was Tabitha Jones. Best man was Michael Dunn. Bridesmaids were Katie Beth DeSchepper, Rory Soderling and Keri Moore. Groomsmen were Mark DeSchepper, Brian Meyer and Jack Gunselmen. Miriam Hilmer sang and played the guitar.
Ushers were Bo Blevins, Bobby Blevins, Jacob Spradlin and Erick Vaughn. Ring bearer was Jacob Landgrebe. Flower girl was Courtney Williams.
A dinner was served in the reception hall of the church.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Baldwin High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications in 2003 from Baker University. She works in classified advertising for the Lawrence Journal-World.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Lawrence High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry in 2004 from Kansas University. He works as a laboratory technician for Prosoco in Lawrence.
The couple reside in Lawrence.
Marvin and Marie Trybom, Lawrence, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner Sunday.
Marie Uhlrich and Marvin Trybom were married Feb. 14, 1946, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clifton.
Their children are Gene and Shirley Trybom, Lawrence; Nancy and Bob Chute, Casa Grande, Ariz.; Judy and Marvin Hauschild, Lawrence; Robert and Rita Trybom, Lawrence; Linda and Joe Bollig, Baldwin; and Angela Trybom, Lawrence. They have 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Millard and Leola Murray, Lawrence, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 19 at their Lawrence home.
Millard Murray and Leola Bond were married Feb. 20, 1946, at the bride's parents' home in Eudora. Millard served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the Charles Lawrence and the LSM 243. He is a retired farmer and carpenter. Leola was a seamstress and worked at McCollum Hall at Kansas University.
Their children are Mike Murray, Auburn; Dennis Murray, Lawrence; Gary Murray, Clinton; Kathy Hamilton, LaHarpe; Jane Lamb, St. George; and Jean Eberhart, Baldwin. They also have 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Daniel and Annie Merriam, Lawrence, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with family.
They were married Feb. 12, 1946, in Philadelphia.
After Dan's tour in the Navy during World War II, the couple moved to Lawrence, where Dan attended Kansas University. He earned his doctorate from Kansas University in 1961 and earned a Doctor of Science degree from Leicester University (England) in 1975.
Dan and Annie traveled extensively during their marriage, living in New Mexico, Texas, California, England and New York, before returning to Kansas in the 1980s. Even though Dan has been emeritus at KU since 1997, he continues to be actively involved with the Kansas Department of Geology. Annie is a member of Beta Sigma Phi, an international women's friendship network. She is an artist, working in mediums from oil paints and watercolors to crochet and needlework. She is working on a book of genealogy for the family.
They have six children and 13 grandchildren.
Wayne and Mary Ellen Woody, Baldwin, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner and cruise to Alaska with friends later this year.
The couple were married Feb. 11, 1956, in Hutchinson.
Their children are Mike and Sue Woody, Des Moines, Iowa; Richard and Mary Woody, Overland Park; David Woody, Baldwin; and Cathy Creviston, Wellsville. They have eight grandchildren.

Mel is a veteran of the Korean War having served with the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired as vice president of Alvamar Inc. and was owner and operator of Mexican food franchises. Theresa is a homemaker.
The couple's children are Garry and Carole Anderson, Naperville, Ill.; Greg and Susan Anderson, Liberty, Mo.; Dana Robinson, San Diego; and Susan Barnett, Meriden. They have 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
