Heather Agnew and Duncan Pestock

Gerard and Nancy Agnew, Leavenworth, announce the engagement of their daughter Heather Rachelle Agnew, Leavenworth, to Duncan Matthew Pestock, Tonganoxie, son of George and Deborah Pestock, Tonganoxie.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Leavenworth High School. She received an associate's degree from the University of Saint Mary. She attended Washburn University. Heather is completing her degree in registered nursing at Kansas City Community College. She is employed at Applebee's in Leavenworth.

The future groom is a 1999 Tonganoxie High School gradute and a 2004 graduate of the University of Saint Mary. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in information technology and graphic design. He is employed as a systems engineer for the National Simulations Center of Fort Leavenworth.

The couple plan a June 25 wedding at the Lawrence First Church of the Nazarene.

Dustin Swart and Sarah McCullough

Larry and Elaine McCullough, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah McCullough, Auburn, Ala., to Dustin Swart, Auburn, Ala., son of Roger and Marja Swart, Abilene, Texas.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 Lawrence High School graduate. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Abilene Christian University in 2003. She is pursuing a master's degree in human development and family studies from Auburn University.

The future groom is a 2000 graduate of Cooper High School, Abilene, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Auburn University this month. He plans to attend graduate school at Auburn this fall.

The couple plan a July 24 wedding in Parkville, Mo.

David Alcindor and Evin Worthington

Barbara Worthington, Lawrence; Tim Worthington, Sioux Falls, Iowa; and Jacqueline Alcindor, Paris, announce the engagement of their children, Evin Worthington and David Alcindor.

The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Free State High School. She plans to graduate in December with a bachelor's degree in life sciences and a secondary degree in gerontology from Kansas State University. She works at Mid-America Piano.

The future groom is a 1989 graduate of Bluestem High School, Leon. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in architecture studies from Kansas University in 1997. He received a doctorate from KU Medical School in 2001. He plans to join the U.S. Air Force as a medical captain in August. He works at Geary County Hospital.

The couple plan a June 1 wedding at the Church of the Covenant in Junction City.

Rachuel A. Woodman and Coy Weege, both of Wichita, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert Woodman and Vickie Byerley, Wichita. She is a graduate of Chaparral High School, Anthony. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Wichita State University. She teaches first grade at Bryant Core Knowledge Magnet, where she plans to teach second grade next year.

The future groom is the son of Wayne and Diane Weege, Baldwin. He is a graduate of Baldwin High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Kansas University. He works at Steven Suzuki as the finance manager.

The couple plan a Sept. 4 wedding at Christian Faith Centre in Wichita.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 Eudora High School graduate. She is studying secondary earth and space science education at Kansas University.

The future groom is a 1999 Free State High School graduate. He graduated from Johnson County Community College in 2003 with a degree in information technology. He is studying computer science at Washburn University. He works at Westar Energy as an information technology consultant.

The couple plan a June 4, 2006, wedding at Potter Lake on KU's campus.

The bride-to-be graduated from Grinhar College of the Philippines. Her grandmother Encarnacion Bayani and brother Justin Compleza live in the Philippines. The future groom is a graduate of Eudora High School.

The couple plan a June 25 wedding at Hesper Friends Church in Eudora.
