Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given that
the Tonganoxie Board of
Zoning Appeals will hold a
public hearing on a request
for a variance from two
sections of the Zoning Ordinance #1138 of the City of
Tonganoxie. The requests,
submitted by Jose Hernandez concern a variation to
Zoning Section 25-017 (a.)
"Wall Signs" asking for a
variance to have more than
one sign on a wall where
the regulations state:
"Each business or establishment shall be permitted
not more than three (3)
wall signs, limited to one
(1) per wall" and to request
a variance to allow for a
sign larger than the maximum square footage permitted in the LBD - Limited
Business District of 50
square feet, on the following described property:
Block 6, Lot 6, Railroad Addition Subdivision in the
City of Tonganoxie, KS
Leavenworth County. The
street address is 215 West
St.
The public hearing shall be
held at 7:00pm on Thursday, July 11, 2013 in the City
Hall Council Chambers, 321
Delaware, Tonganoxie, Kansas. All persons interested
in the above premises, and
all persons owning property in the above neighborhood, who desire to be
heard either in favor or
against said variances in
the regulations, are invited
