You are hereby notified
that a petition (SAV-13-001)
has been filed in the Office
of the City Clerk of the City
of Shawnee, Kansas, addressed to the Governing
Body of the City of Shawnee, Kansas, requesting the
vacation of the following
public street right-of-way:

All of public street
right-of-way, being 40 feet
in width, for 71st Street
(formally known as Hirning
Road as establish by the
Johnson County Board of
Commissions on April 4,
1938 and filed in Road
Packet No. 1031) generally
located East of the Martindale Street, as now establish, and having a centerline described as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the West line of the
Burlington Northern Santa
Fe Railway Company
(formally the Atchinson Topeka & Santa Fe Railway
Company) right-of-way, as
now established, and the
North line of the Section 23,
Township 12 South, Range
23 East of the Sixth Principal Meridian, in the city of
Shawnee, Johnson County,
Kansas; thence East along
said North line across the
present channel of Mill
Creek and terminating at
the Northeast corner of
said Section 23.

You are further notified
that said petition will be
presented to and heard by
said Governing Body at a
public meeting thereon on
the 13th day of May 2013 ,
beginning at 7:30 p.m. ,
which hearing, to be conducted in the Council
Chamber of the Shawnee
City Hall, 11110 Johnson
Drive, Shawnee, Kansas,
which may be adjourned
from time to time to some
day and hour certain as
deemed necessary by said
Governing Body, which adjournment shall be noted
upon the record of the proceedings thereof.

All persons interested can
appear and be heard on
said vacation at said time
and place.
