will hold a public hearing

purpose of considering an
application to be submitted to the Kansas Department of Commerce for
Small Cities Community
Development Block Grant
funds under the Downtown
Commercial Rehabilitation
category. A specific project application to be discussed is the building located at 112-120 Oak Street
that will consist of building improvements, such as
a new roof; windows;
faade; electrical, plumbing, mechanical upgrades
and parking lot. The estimated project cost is
$312,500 with the grant request for $250,000 of the
project cost. Other project
proposals introduced at
the hearing will be considered. Oral and written
comments will be recorded and become a part
of the Bonner Springs
CDBG Citizen Participation
Plan.

BONNER SPRINGS,
KANSAS

The city of Bonner Springs,
Kansas (the "City"), will
conduct a public hearing
at 7:30 p.m. on (or as soon
thereafter as is practical)
on May 11, 2015, at the
Council Chambers, City
Hall, 205 E. 2nd Street,
Bonner Springs, Kansas, to
consider applying to the
Board of Tax Appeals of
the state of Kansas to
grant an exemption from
ad valorem taxes pursuant
to K.S.A. 79-201a Second
for property financed with
the proceeds of approximately $1,300,000 principal amount of industrial
revenue bonds (the
"Bonds") in accordance
with K.S.A. 12-1740 to 12
1749d, inclusive, as
amended. The proceeds of
the Bonds will be used to
pay the cost of acquiring
real property and equipping and constructing two
apartment buildings located at 13100 Richland
Avenue, Bonner Springs,
Kansas (the "Project").
The facility will be leased
to Guy Tiner, an individual,
or his assigns (the
"Developer"). Application
for the exemption will be
conditioned on agreement
by the Developer to make
certain payments in lieu of
taxes which payments will
be apportioned and paid
by the Unified Government
Treasurer to all taxing subdivisions in the territory in
which the Project is located in the manner provided by K.S.A. 12 1742.
The Bonds and the interest
thereon will not be a debt
or general obligation of
the City, the state of Kansas or any municipal corporation thereof, and neither the Bonds nor the interest thereon are payable
in any manner from tax
revenues of any kind or
character.

The meeting and public
hearing will be open to the
public. Interested members of the public are invited to attend the hearing
and will have an opportunity to express their views
with respect to the exemption. Written comments
with respect to the exemption may also be submitted to the City Clerk before
the hearing. Additional information regarding the
exemption may be obtained in advance of the
hearing from the City
Clerk.

The City Council will consider the adoption of
Neighborhood Revitalization Plan No. 5, pursuant to
K.S.A. 12-17,114 et seq. at a
public hearing at 7:30 p.m.
on Monday, May 11, 2015,
in the City Council Chambers, 205 East Second
Street, Bonner Springs,
Kansas.
The proposed Neighborhood Revitalization Plan
No. 5 and a description of
the boundaries of the proposed Neighborhood Revitalization Plan No. 5 are
available for inspection
during the hours or 8:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the office of the City Clerk, 205
East Second Street, Bonner
Springs, Kansas.

At the conclusion of the
hearing, the City Council of
the City of Bonner Springs
will consider findings necessary for the adoption of
the proposed Neighborhood Revitalization Plan
No. 5 and the establishment of the proposed
Neighborhood Revitalization Areas, all as provided
for in K.S.A.
12-17,114 et seq.
