Under and by virtue of an
Order of Sale issued by the
Clerk of the District Court
of Douglas County, Kansas,
in the above action,
wherein the parties above
named were, respectively,
plaintiff and defendants, to
me the undersigned Sheriff
of Douglas County, Kansas,
I will offer for sale at public
auction and sell to the highest bidder for cash in hand,
at the front door of the
Courthouse in the City of
Lawrence, Douglas County,
State of Kansas, on the 31st
day of October, 2013, at
10:00 o'clock A.M., of said
day, the following described real estate situated
in Douglas County, State of
Kansas, to-wit:

TRACT I: The South Half of
the Northeast Quarter of
Section 1, Township 13
South, Range 18 East of the
Sixth Principal Meridian,
Douglas County, Kansas,
LESS AND EXCEPT a tract of
land conveyed in Warranty
Deed, recorded May 8, 1987,
at Book 404, Page 1696 and
page 1722.

Tract II: A tract of land located in the North Half, of
the Northeast Quarter of
Section 1, Township 13
South, Range 18 East of the
Sixth Principal Meridian,
Douglas County, Kansas,
more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest
corner of the Northeast
Quarter; thence South
8959'30" East a distance of
599.23 feet to the point of
beginning, said point being
on the North line of the
Northeast Quarter; thence,
continuing on said North
line, South 8959'30" East a
distance of 705.60 feet;
thence South 007'45" East
a distance of 493.00 feet;
thence North 8959'30"
West a distance of 170.00
feet; thence South 007'45"
East a distance of 819.53
feet, said point being on the
South line of the North Half,
of the Northeast Quarter;
thence, along said South
line, North 8950'00" West a
distance of 533.64 feet;
thence North 012'56" West
a distance of 1,311.07 feet
to the point of beginning;

to satisfy the judgment in
the above entitled case,
said sale to be made without appraisement, subject
to the three (3) month redemption period of the defendants, and further subject to the approval of the
Court.

This is an attempt to collect
a debt and any information
obtained will be used for
that purpose.
