NOTICE TO CREDITORS
PURSUANT TO THE KANSAS
SIMPLIFIED ESTATES ACT
(Pursuant to K.S.A.
Chapter 59)
THE STATE OF KANSAS TO
ALL PERSONS CONCERNED
You are hereby notified
that on February 1, 2013, a
Petition was filed in the
District Court of Douglas
County, Kansas by Harlan
G. Schwertfeger, an heir of
Carl W. Schwertfeger, deceased, praying that Letters of Administration under the Kansas Simplified
Estates Act be issued to the
Petitioner without bond.
You are further advised Under the Kansas Simplified
Estates Act the Court need
not supervise administration of the estate, and no
notice of any act to the Administrator of other proceedings in the administration will be given, except
for sale of real estate and
for final settlement of the
estate.
You are further advised if
no written objections to
simplified administration
are filed with the Court, the
Court may order that supervised administration be
followed.
You are requested to file
your objections or defenses, if any, on or before
February 28, 2013, and 10:30
a.m. in the District Court of
Douglas County, Kansas, Division Number 1, at which
time and place the cause
will be heard. Should you
fail therein, and no other
defenses or objections are
timely presented, judgment
and order will be entered
as requested in the Petition.
Further, ALL CREDITORS
are notified to exhibit their
demands against the Estate
within four (4) months from
the date of first publication
of this notice, as required
by law, and if not so exhibited, they shall be forever
barred.
