Bus Shop Foreman
MV Transportation is seeking a highly
motivated and
detail-oriented individual to manage fleet
maintenance activity for KU on Wheels.
This position is
responsible for
supervising staff and
performing hands-on preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repair to ensure all vehicles are maintained according to FTA standards, safe, clean and in good
working order everyday. The 60-vehicle fleet
includes 40' transit buses, 25' Para transit vehicles, and
7 passenger vehicles.
The successful candidate must have 7 or more years of automotive
experience, with 4 years in a transit fleet
supervisory role
preferred. Computer
literacy required and ASE certifications in medium to heavy duty diesel
vehicles preferred.
Must have own tools and reliable transportation. Class B CDL/air brake endorsement required within 30 days of
employment.
