Worker I
The City or Baldwin City is accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Worker I. This position is non-exempt under FLSA. This employee performs semi- skilled work in the repair and maintenance of City water lines, sewer lines, streets, alleys, and parks. This employee should possess a strong mechanical aptitude, effective communication and public relation skills. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid Kansas Commercial Drivers license or the ability to obtain one with in six months of hire. One to two years of experience is preferred. Salary based on experience.
