SUPERVISOR
Lawrence Journal-World is hiring for a Dock Supervisor to manage the single copy drivers and dock activities and oversee carriers as they pick-up and distribute newspapers for home delivery in Lawrence and surrounding area. Ensure all daily delivery deadlines are met. Dock Supervisor will work from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., but must have some flexibility in work hours to meet business needs.
Ideal candidate must have proven management experience; strong attention to detail; be a team player; strong oral and written communication skills; and have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Drug screen, physical assessment and background check required.
