Superintendent
Jefferson County is
seeking a Road & Bridge Superintendent.
Job responsibilities include administrative and supervisory work in the planning, construction and maintenance of county roads and bridges.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, fiscal management experience, proven leadership, decision making and planning skills. Requirements include an Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two year college/ technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience; a valid Class A Kansas Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or obtainable within 60 days of employment. Salary range $38,504 - $60,847. Drug, physical capacity, vision and hearing testing required as well as a health physical.
