Design Engineer
This position is responsible for creating engaging, visually appealing, intuitive and interactive web applications. The candidate must have considerable experience designing and developing web applications using complex Javascript and CSS as opposed to designing simple web pages.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience in
launching successful in-
teractive web applica-
tions as a key member
of a web development,
application develop-
ment, or user experience
team.
• 4+ years of experience
with HTML, XHTML, CSS,
XML.
• 3+ years of experience
with Javascript (DOM
Scripting, AJAX),
ActionScript (Flash).
• Extremely comfortable
with Javascript libraries
like Prototype, JQuery,
MochiKit.
• Knowledge of web
browser compatibility
issues and workarounds
(Mac and PC).
• Strong understanding of
web standards, object-
oriented design and
software development
principles.
• Strong knowledge of
accessibility laws and
accessible development
techniques.
• Bachelors in Arts or Sci-
ences or equivalent ex-
perience.
• Ability to drive multiple
projects from start to
finish with minimal
supervision.
