Support Technician
Department of Design, School of Fine Arts, the University of Kansas.
The University of Kansas is seeking a part-time Technology Support Technician. The applicant will serve as the primary supervisor of the computer labs in the Art & Design building by managing the general operation of the labs in support of the academic mission of the departments.
Required qualifications: High School Diploma, 3- 5 years experience and working knowledge of desktop publishing applications such as Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office, knowledge of Entourage, basic multimedia packages and ability to transfer data including video.
Preferred qualifications: Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic errors on Macintosh OSX and Windows operating systems, setup printers & scanners and experience in managing employees.
