VISUAL DIRECTOR
The World Company's Lawrence Journal-World and 6News in Lawrence, Kansas, leaders in multimedia storytelling, are seeking a Visual Director to lead a staff of print /online photographers and television videographers who are merging into a single department. This position is about 50 percent administrative and 50 percent content generation. This is your opportunity to be an integral part of a company that's been called "the newspaper of the future" by the New York Times.
Successful candidates should have an outstanding portfolio in print, online and video storytelling; proven management or team leader experience; experience creating photo illustrations and front-page design, with photo toning also preferred.
