Rubber Company
is accepting resumes for the position of Communications Manager at its tire manufacturing plant in Topeka, KS.
Primary Responsibilities: Develop, implement and manage a communications business plan that effectively and measurably communicates plant and corporate objectives to employees. Handle media relations and act as plant spokesperson. Coordinate special events and community activities.
Candidates must have a four-year degree in journalism, mass communications or a related field, and five years relevant experience. Master's degree in business or communications preferred. The position requires knowledge of strategic planning, the ability to work in a union environment, news media experience, and a working knowledge of desktop publishing.
