The Creative Imaging department of the Lawrence Journal-World, winner of the Kansas Press Association's Sweepstakes Award the past three years and a leader in the converged media arena, is now taking applications for an experienced Graphic Designer to fill a temporary, part-time Ad Builder position. Position will work Monday - Friday from 3:00-8:00 p.m.

The ideal candidate will be strong in all phases of the creative process- with an ability to conceptualize effective ads and campaigns as well as produce them. Should enjoy working with a variety of salespeople and clients in a deadline oriented environment. We are looking for a candidate with a positive, can-do attitude and the desire to produce top-quality work every day.

Applicants are required to have at least two years of professional layout and design experience and experience with Quark, InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop. Pre-employment drug screen and physical required.
