Representative
The World Company, a fast-paced, multi-media organization, has several Collections Representative positions available in our Sunflower Broadband Business Office. The right candidate will call and communicate via email or US mail with customers who have past due accounts to increase collections payments; enter non-pay, disconnect or reconnect orders; schedule disconnects for non-payment; record payment properly in the customer account payment system; log call notes; run report and conduct periodic audits.
The successful candidate must have at least one year experience in an outbound calling, collections environment, two years preferred; at least one year experience working with customer database and billing systems; high school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred; excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills; strong initiative and assertiveness; ability to meet and exceed goals; able to be a part of a team while interacting with a variety of internal operating units, e.g., direct sales, customer service, accounting, field technicians; strong organizational skills, follow- through and the ability to multitask to meet dead- lines; and be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint). Candidates must be able to work during the hours of 11am to 8pm and up to two Saturdays per month
