Rescue crews remove 15 people from Kansas River after search

Rescue workers safely removed fifteen members of a group on a float trip down the Kansas River from Lecompton to Lawrence Sunday evening. A concerned party could not get in touch with the group via cell phone and contacted Douglas County emergency crews, who then conducted a search.
