Agree not to upload, post, distribute, e-mail or otherwise publish or make available on LJWorld.com's Reader Forums, On the Street or in Comments any comments that are libelous, defamatory, obscene, harmful, vulgar, threatening, tortious, harassing, abusive, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, racially or ethnically objectionable, or otherwise illegal material;

Note: If your e-mail provider, to control spam, does not allow incoming messages from senders you have not approved beforehand, you will need to set up your e-mail account to allow messages from webmaster@www2.ljworld.com. Our software sends out a confirmation e-mail, and LJWorld.com cannot be responsible for making sure your e-mail provider allows the confirmation e-mail to be accepted. AOL users: AOL might consider the registration e-mail we send out to be spam and prevent you from receiving it. Unfortunately, until AOL changes their e-mail mechanisms, the only work-around is to sign up for a LJWorld.com account using a non-AOL e-mail account, such as from Yahoo!, or Hotmail.

We will not spam you or give your e-mail address to anybody. We hate spam as much as you do. We ask for your e-mail address in order to curtail the multiple-account-registration syndrome - which happens anyway, but this is somewhat of a barrier.
